Summary[]
The contestants had to choose a letter of the alphabet, then answer the fastest correct answers beginning with before or after that letter. The questions were as follows:
- A country, 4 letters before your letter
- A food, 25 letters after your letter
- Something heavier than a cat, 10 letters before your letter
- A common lady's name, 8 letters after your letter

Joanne McNally: Joanne chose the letter T. She answered "Portugal" second, but was eliminated second as she answered "Ice" while her food had to begin with S. She received 2 points.
John Robins: John chose the letter L. He answered "Honduras" first, "Kiwi" second, "Boulder" second, and "Tina" immediately. He was the last person standing, receiving 5 points.
Nick Mohammed: Nick chose the letter M. He answered "India" fourth, "Lamb" immediately, "Cow" immediately, but John beat him when he answered "Ursula", so he was eliminated fourth, receiving 4 points.
Sophie Willan: Sophie chose the letter B. She initially thought she needed an answer starting with Y, so she said "Yemen". Since there are no countries beginning with a letter X, she was eliminated first. She received 1 point.
Steve Pemberton: Steve chose the letter P. He answered "Libya" third, "Olive" third, but was eliminated third as he answered "Goose" while his thing heavier than a cat had to begin with F. He received 3 points.
