The contestants had to write down 5 words that fit the Taskmaster's category. If they wrote the same word as their partner, they scored a point. If the other team wrote down the same word, the word had to be removed from the whiteboards. The categories were:
- Things with 4 legs that are bigger than a rat
- Purple things
- Things that are nice to put in your mouth

Ardal O'Hanlon & Chris Ramsey: Ardal and Chris scored 3 points in the first round for "dog" "elephant"and "donkey", but it went to 1 point as Sophie wrote down "dog" and "donkey". They scored 0 points in the second round, with Ardal matching with Bridget and Chris matching with Sophie. They scored 2 points in the third round for "lolly" and "thumb". They scored 3 points overall in the game, so received 5 points each.
Bridget Christie, Judi Love and Sophie Duker: Bridget, Judi and Sophie scored 1 point in the first round for "cat" but it was removed as Chris wrote down "cat".
