Work out the contents of these bags was a task featured on Series 12 of Taskmaster, as the third task in Oatmeal and death. The task was won by Victoria Coren Mitchell.

Summary[]

The task was presented on a table next to five bags of food. The contestants had to work out the contents of the bag by either having Alex make a tiny hole in each bag and eating at least 1 big spoonful or getting Alex to blend all 5 bags' contents in a blender with eating being optional. The bags contents were:

  • Nutella and Nachos
  • Cabbage and Caramel
  • Gravy and Granola/Muesli
  • Banana and Bovril/Marmite for Vegan
  • Mustard and Mayonnaise

Performance[]

Alan Davies: Alan chose option A and ended up eating massive spoonfuls of each food in a rush due to the time limit. He managed to correctly guess 3/10 ingredients, receiving 3 points.

Desiree Burch: Desiree chose option A but was extremely disgusted by the food. She managed to correctly guess 4/10 ingredients, receiving 4 points.

Guz Khan: Guz chose option A but was very disgusted by the food. He managed to correctly guess 2.5/10 ingredients, receiving 1 point.

Morgana Robinson: Morgana chose option B and after licking the empty bags that Alex had put in the bin, she got Alex to eat the blended mixture so he could tell her what he tasted. She managed to correctly guess 3/10 ingredients, receiving 3 points.

Victoria Coren Mitchell: Victoria chose option A and seemed mainly unfazed by the food after finding out it didn't contain any meat or grapefruit. She managed to correctly guess 8/10 ingredients, receiving 5 points.
