Wear this outfit throughout one future task was a special task featured on Series 18 of Taskmaster in ...and then a detective comes in.
Setup[]
Location | Taskmaster House |
---|---|
Equipment | Hot Dog Costume |
Timing | Until their final task |
Summary[]
The task was presented inside the contestant's pigeonhole. The contestant had to decide to wear the Hot Dog Costume Alex was wearing before one future task is set. The costume wearer could double their scores of said task regardless of their standings (ex. 5 points = 10 points or 1 point = 2 points).
The wording of "You have until your time in Taskmaster is over." means that contestants could potentially opt to wear the suit during a prize task or live task in the studio.
Performance[]
Andy Zaltzman: Andy wore the outfit for the final task of the series: Look at a fellow contestant in Le Goose.. He didn't win the task, and won 0 points. His points were doubled, but that had no effect on his total due to scoring nothing.
Babátúndé Aléshé: Baba decided to wear the outfit for the Take a bite out of Alex's carrot task in I'm a girl who likes a clean line.. He won the task, so his 5 points were doubled, for a total of 10 points.
Emma Sidi: Emma decided to wear the outfit for the Do these three things again and again and again in that same order task in The Nexus of Truth.. She only scored 1 point that task, for a total of 2 points.
Jack Dee: Jack immediately decided to wear the outfit for the first part of Identify these 10 fine people in ...and then a detective comes in. as it was the next task given, and was also made to wear it for the second part of the task. He came second in the task, so his 4 points were doubled, for a total of 8 points.
Rosie Jones: Rosie decided to wear her the outfit for the Work out what is in the box task in Captain Jackie and the hotdog.. Before the task, her teammate Jack was given the task of lying throughout, with a penalty of one point for each time he told the truth. He told the truth three times, and they were awarded no points via disqualification, leading to a score of -3 points each. However, it was judged that the negative points would not be doubled by the outfit, so she still received a total of -3 points.
