Toss lemons from one waste bin to another was a team task featured on Season 2 of Taskmaster Australia, as the second task in A hotly contested auction. The task was won by Jenny Tian, Lloyd Langford and Wil Anderson.
Summary[]
The task was presented in a wheelbarrow of lemons. The teams had to toss the lemons between waste bins over the longest distance. If a lemon touched the ground, Tom C would juice it, and they would lose a meter of distance for every liter of lemonade made.
Performance[]
Anne Edmonds & Josh Thomas: Anne and Josh made their longest catch from 10.8m, but made 1.7L of lemonade, so their final score was 9.1 and they received 3 points each.
Jenny Tian, Lloyd Langford & Wil Anderson: Jenny, Lloyd and Wil made their longest catch from 19.8m, but made 0.9L of lemonade, so their final score was 18.9 and they received 5 points each.
Trivia[]
Behind the Scenes[]
- Wil commented that that his team’s bright, monochromatic outfits made them look like a discount version of the Wiggles, leading Tom G to name the two teams “The Discount Wiggles” and “The Premium Economy Hooley Dooleys.” The teams would be referred to as such for the rest of the season.
