Throw your things far but not too far was a studio task featured on Series 9 of Taskmaster, as the fifth task in Quisps. The task was won by Rose Matafeo.

Summary[]

The contestants had to choose one of their items and throw it past the line but not off the runway. If they failed to land their item in the safe zone, they were eliminated. If all of the remaining contestants got their items into the safe zone, the person who threw the item the shortest distance was eliminated.

Performance[]

David Baddiel: David chose the rubber egg which kept rolling back and forth over the line until David started jumping on the runway and ended up not passing the line. He received 1 point.

Ed Gamble: Ed chose the rubber egg, thinking it was a normal egg, so it bounced off the runway. He was eliminated first, so received 1 point.

Jo Brand: Jo first chose the grain of rice which she managed to throw into the safe zone. She then chose the pool noodle for the final round, which she threw off the runway. She received 4 points.

Katy Wix: Katy chose the rubber egg, throwing it at the pool noodle so the egg never landed in the safe zone. She received 1 point.

Rose Matafeo: Rose first chose the pool noodle which only just managed to get past the line. She then chose the grain of rice, which she threw into the safe zone. As the last player standing, she received 5 points.
