Taskmaster Wiki

The Taskmaster Statue is a prop featured from the special Taskmaster's New Year Treat II of Taskmaster, which could be found in the garden. It was originally featured in the Series 11 trailer.

Tasks[]

  • The episode Basic recipe 28. (Taskmaster's New Year Treat II) featured a task where the contestants had to manoeuvre a large pole through an obstacle course, with the statue acting as the start of the course holding the pole. The task was won by Adrian Chiles.
  • The episode Heg. (Series 13, Episode 7) featured a team task where the contestants had to make a cocktail for Greg and deliver the cocktail to the statue, but the teams had to pour the liquid through their head pipes. The task was won by Bridget Christie, Judi Love and Sophie Duker.
  • The episode The Alpine Darling. (Champion of Champions II) featured a task where the contestants had to get a duck into a pond located at the foot of the Taskmaster Statue. The task was won by Lou Sanders, who created a pulley system around the statue.
  • The episode Dafty in the middle. (Series 14, Episode 3) featured a task where the contestants had to catch something. Munya Chawawa climbed onto the statue in an attempt to catch a ball being thrown by Alex on the other side of the house.
  • The episode Spider in my pocket. (Champion of Champions III) featured a task where the contestants had to put a hat on the Taskmaster's head from the furthest distance. The task was won by Dara Ó Briain.
  • The episode Apropos of Apoppo. (Series 17, Episode 4) featured a task where contestants had to find the other half of the task. The statue was holding a CD player which was a hint towards the location of the other half of the task. The task was won by Joanne McNally, John Robins, and Sophie Willan.
