The task was presented on the table. The contestants had to figure out what make the light bulb activates the fastest. There's are clues consisted of:
- Some "poker" chips with a neutral facial expression on one side and (+2) on another side
- Behind the wall clock that's written "Speed of light = ?miles" / 2 seconds"
- The plate of raisins hidden a written messeage "Comedy is tragedy plus time".
- Alex mentioning their smile as they walked in.
The clues provided means that the lightbulb activates 2 seconds after the contestants stopped smilling.
Performance[]
Fatiha El-Ghorri: When Fatiha spotted that the lightbulb activates, she instantly trying to smile repeatedly. Using the "poker" chips, she put two and two together and found her answer in about 7 minutes, receiving 5 points.
Jason Mantzoukas: Jason kept trying to activate the lightbulb by slotting raisins on the tiny hole in the box which was mounted with the lightbulb. He also keep guessing "2 seconds after ..." and arguing to Alex for 6 minutes. He eventually found his answer in about 52 minutes, receiving 1 point.
Mathew Baynton: Mathew struggled to figure out the task, but was delayed when he found the hidden task which he had to read out in full. He thought of throwing the chips and raisin off grid, but found a hint when pointed out that Alex mentioned his smile. He found his answer in 13 minutes and 54 seconds, receiving 4 points.
Rosie Ramsey: Rosie struggled to figure out the task, but was delayed when she found the hidden task which she had to read out in full. She thought that the "poker" chips meant that she have to cry, but eventually found the answer in 16 minutes and 54 seconds, receiving 3 points.
Stevie Martin: Stevie increasingly got exasperated by the repeated lightbulb activations. She eventually figured out the "Speed of Light" code, trying to keep smiling, and found her answer in about 28 minutes, receiving 2 points.
