The following is a list of Taskmasters' Assistants from the many varients of Taskmaster, as well as information on the role.
Role[]
The Taskmaster's Assistant is responsible for the administration of tasks and is present when they are performed. They track the scores in objectively-judged tasks, and inform the Taskmaster of any cheating that may have occurred. The assistant also tallies the scores and "controls" the screen in the studio. Assistants also typically introduce tasks, and are present on stage during the live task. In short, despite being named an "assistant", their role is to do everything except for hand out points for subjective tasks, as well as introduce and close off the show and contestants in each episode.

Alex Horne[]
Series creator Alex Horne is the Taskmaster's Assistant in the original UK series Taskmaster. He was also the assistant in the American version and in Edinburgh Does... Taskmaster.
Carsten van Ryssen[]
Carsten van Ryssen was the Taskmaster's Assistant for Germany's unaired Taskmaster.
David Sundin[]

Ed Gamble, having previously been a contestant on Series 9, was the Taskmaster's Assistant for the UK's pilot episode of Foodmaster.
