Taskmaster II was a 2011 Edinburgh Fringe Festival show presented by Alex Horne. A follow-up to the previous year's The Taskmaster, Horne set ten panellists a series of tasks, and in the show judged them on their efforts.

Contestants: Bruce Dessau, Dan Atkinson, Henning Wehn, Joe Wilkinson, Josie Long, Lloyd Langford, Mark Watson, Steve Hall, Stu Goldsmith and Tim Key.

The show was won by Josie Long. Three contestants, Joe Wilkinson, Mark Watson and Tim Key, would go on to appear in the UK TV version, and one on the Australian version (Lloyd Langford).

Known tasks

• Task 1: Send in something expensive.

  Tim Key sent his 2009 Foster's Comedy Award trophy.

• Task 3: Guess facts about Horne's second baby, such as the name, date of birth and weight.
• Task 4: Make a copy of Alex Horne.
  • Bruce Dessau painted (and stuck hair to) an egg.
  • Dan Atkinson made a sculpture and accompanying video.
  • Stu Goldsmith made a clay model.
  • Tim Key hired a lookalike.
• Task 5: Drink a pint of rainwater.
• Task ??: Cheer up Mark Olver.

  Bruce Dessau found out his favourite burger and gave it to him in Bath.

• Task ??: Get Alex a signed photo from someone famous.
  • Bruce Dessau got Andy Murray.
  • Tim Key almost got Jennifer Aniston.
• Special Task: Bruce Dessau was repeatedly emailed that he could earn extra points if he stood in the sea with a copy of that day's newspaper.

  He did this in April, while on holiday near Bridport.

• Tie-break: Fit the most grapes into your mouth.

  Between Josie Long and Stu Goldsmith. Won by Long, who fit 18 grapes in her mouth.
