Taskmaster PT is the Portuguese version of Taskmaster. It began airing in March 2022, with Vasco Palmeirim as the Taskmaster and Nuno Markl as the Taskmaster's Assistant.
Based on the original Taskmaster, the portuguese version also has 5 contestants: 4 of them are regular contestants during all series and the fifth one is a special guest that change every episode.
After the 1st and 2nd series of Tasksmaster Portugal were audience leaders, giving the Portuguese public channel RTP the lead of an important and disputed time (21:30 Saturdays), RTP decided to make a third series for the Portuguese version, changing the regular contestants. The Portuguese channel already confirmed that the 3rd series of the show will start to be aired in September 2023.
Even before the 3rd series aired, rumours said that RTP bought the international rights of the show to do a 4th season to be aired at the first semester of 2024.
