The task was presented inside of a jack-in-the-box. The contestants were tasked with surprising Alex when he left the shed in one hour.

Al Murray: Al took off his clothes and struck a gong whilst blowing several airhorns with his feet. He received 4 points.
Dave Gorman: Dave paid the crew to dress down to their boxers, before jumping out of a hedge on Alex. He received 3 points.
Paul Chowdhry: Paul dressed as the horror "Brown Clown" and sat in a box for about 45 minutes, pretending to be the jack-in-the-box the task was in. He received 1 point.
Rob Beckett: Rob dressed as a granny and sprayed Alex with a jet wash. He received 5 points.
Sara Pascoe: Sara pretended to murder a member of the crew, Joel and frame Alex for it. She received 2 points.
