Series 21 is the upcoming twenty-first series of Taskmaster. It was commissioned as part of a six series deal in March 2023. No details about this series have been released yet, although it will likely be broadcast in Spring 2026. The theme for this series has been described as "very exciting" by Andy Devonshire.[1]
The series features a "special guest" that Alex Horne describes as being from somewhere "exotic", and that viewers will recognise them. Alex also stated the location for location tasks this series is "somewhere that's pretty mad".[2]
Studio segments will presumably be recorded during the run of Series 20, and the cast will be revealed following Taskmaster's New Year Treat VI in either the final days of 2025 or the early days of 2026. This series will be the first to be filmed at Television Centre following the closure of Pinewood Studios' television wing in 2025.[3] It is currently unknown if more series will be commissioned for the show following this series.
