Series 21 is the upcoming twenty-first series of Taskmaster. It was commissioned as part of a six series deal in March 2023. No details about this series have been released yet, although it will likely be broadcast in Spring 2026. The theme for this series has been described as "very exciting" by Andy Devonshire.[1]
Studio segments will presumably be recorded during the run of Series 20, and the cast will be revealed following Taskmaster's New Year Treat VI in the early days of 2026.
Either this series or Series 20 has each contestant's age be a different decade: one is in their 20s, one in their 30s, one in their 40s, one in their 50s, and one in their 60s.[2] Depending on when the studio is closed, this is either the first series to have its studio segments be filmed outside Pinewood Studios since it was first used for the show, or it is the final series to have them filmed there.
It is currently unknown if more series will be commissioned for the show following this series.
