Say the most five-letter words was a task featured on Series 20 of Taskmaster, as the fourth task in Am I an idiom? The task was won by Sanjeev Bhaskar.

Summary[]

The task was presented on one of the plinths inside the dome. The contestants had to say the most five-letter different words whilst standing on one leg, put their hands on their head and ear, and pull an expressions. But the real instructions were written on the back of the task.

Breaking their formation will end the task and if they name the same words as the other contestants, they would lose five total words per penalty.

Performance[]

Ania Magliano: Ania got baffled with the task and when she tried to reread the task, she moved her hands from her head 16 minutes early. She ended up naming -49 words after penalties, receiving 4 points.

Maisie Adam: Maisie got confused with the task due to not check the back of the task, got frustrated and left the dome early. She ended up naming -81 words after penalties, receiving 2 points.

Phil Ellis: Phil leaned his one foot on the plinth and kept naming words. His words mostly clashed with Reece and in total he named -74 words after penalties, receiving 3 points.

Reece Shearsmith: Reece struggled to keep his position, named list of suffering words during that. He named 117 words, but the other contestants, mostly Phil, named 41 identical words, leaving a total of -88 words after penalties. He received 1 point.

Sanjeev Bhaskar: Sanjeev struggled to stand on one leg and kept touching the ground, quickly giving up and leaving the dome to go to the loo. This ended up working in his favour, as he had said less five letter words and therefore incurred less penalties. He ended up naming -32 words after penalties, receiving 5 points.
