Summary[]
The task was presented on the table next to wellies attached to a rig by twine in the lab. The contestants had to put all the wellies on the spider's feet, which was located in the bathtub in the garden. They had to always hold one welly, but could not carry more than 3 wellies at a time.
Performance[]
Daisy May Cooper: Daisy immediately located the spider, initially taking two wellies at a time, before carrying three. She put the wellies on the spider's legs in 8 minutes and 8 seconds, receiving 5 points.
Johnny Vegas: Johnny quickly located the spider, dragging it into the lab where he proceeded to put the wellies on the spider's legs. Despite completing the task in 9 minutes and 10 seconds, the string broke off one welly so he was disqualified from the task.
Katherine Parkinson: Katherine didn't realise she could leave the room so, after questioning if she was the spider, decided to put the wellies on the table legs as there were 8 legs, making a spider. As Greg felt that Katherine was using lateral thinking, he gave her 1 bonus point.
Mawaan Rizwan: Mawaan quickly found the spider and began putting the wellies on the spider's legs, realising the legs came off, although he insisted on putting the legs back on the spider before putting on the last welly. He put the wellies on the spider's legs in the third longest time, but because Johnny was disqualified, Mawaan received 4 points.
Richard Herring: Richard immediately located the spider, moving it closer to the door and discovering the legs came off, although he put them back on the spider at the end. He put the wellies on the spider's legs in 11 minutes and 48 seconds, receiving 3 points.
