Summary[]
The task was presented on a cushion. The contestants were initially instructed to completely unwind a ball of string. However, the back of the task revealed that the contestants just had to put a neat ball of sting on the cushion, without needing to unwind the initial ball of string. Additionally, their time only started once they said Alex's name.
Performance[]
Frankie Boyle: Frankie refused to say Alex's name until he unwound all of the ball of string, but left thinking he had completed the task. As he had still not put a ball of string on the cushion after 6 months, he received 1 point.
Ivo Graham: Ivo immediately said Alex's name when entering the room and quickly unwound all of the ball of string. He then realised the real task was on the back of the task and rapidly wrapped the string around his fingers, then a dog ornament's mouth. He put a neat ball of string on the cushion in 7 minutes and 24 seconds, receiving 2 points.
Jenny Eclair: Jenny immediately said Alex's name when entering the room, before quickly unwinding all of the ball of string, preempting the second part of the task. She then started to wind the ball up before she decided to snap a part of the string off and make a small ball of string. She put a neat ball of string on the cushion in 3 minutes and 54 seconds, receiving 4 points.
Kiell Smith-Bynoe: Kiell refused to say Alex's name until he unwound all of the ball of string, before he realised the real task was on the back of the task. He put a neat ball of string on the cushion in 5 minutes and 7 seconds, receiving 3 points.
Mae Martin: Mae said Alex's name when reading out the task, before quickly unwinding all of the ball of string. They then started to wind the string back into a ball before searching for a new ball of string, finding one immediately in the fake drawers in the living room. They put a neat ball of string on the cushion in 2 minutes and 35 seconds, receiving 5 points.
