Summary[]
The task was presented to the contestants by Alex. The contestants had to get three dogs to stand on the red mat. The task was originally supposed to use chickens and ducks, which is what Lolly used, but they had to be replaced by dogs after an outbreak of avian bird flu meant all chickens had to be kept indoors.
Performance[]
Hugh Dennis: Hugh used treats to get the dogs to stand on the mat. He got 10 dog legs and his 2 legs on the red mat in 6 minutes 51 seconds, receiving 3 points.
Joe Lycett: Joe used sausages to get the dogs to stand on the mat. He got 3 dogs to stand on the red mat in 44.6 seconds, receiving 5 points.
Lolly Adefope: As Lolly was the first contestant to take on the task, she had to get 3 chickens to stand on the red mat, the original animal the task was designed to use. In addition, there were ducks mixed in with the chickens as decoys. She got 3 chickens on the red mat using bird feed as bait in 13 minutes 40 seconds. As Greg judged getting chickens on a mat was 40% harder, Lolly received 2 bonus points, resulting in a total of 4 points.
Mel Giedroyc: Mel put sausages in her driving gloves, before getting enough dogs to stand on the red mat. She got 3 dogs to stand on the red mat in 14 minutes 24 seconds, receiving 1 point.
Noel Fielding: Noel used sausages to get the dogs to stand on the mat. He got 3 dogs to stand on the red mat in six minutes 28 seconds, receiving 4 points.
