Paint a face on your ball was a studio/team task featured on Series 17 of Taskmaster, as the fifth task in Dream date territory. The task was won by Sophie Willan.

Summary[]
The contestants had to create and paint an attractive face using only their tools on the ball attached to their helmet. Greg defined an attractive face as "really lovely lips, pretty eyes and lovely hair".
Performance[]
Joanne McNally: Joanne got exasperated and drew an empty, shaved, all-red face with a black-eye. She received 1 point.
John Robins: John was entirely focused for the entire task, and drew a fancy face with bloody-looking lips. He received 4 points.
Nick Mohammed: Nick accidently dropped his ball from his helmet prompting Alex and Greg to reattach it. He drew a face with tiny eyes and large lips. He received 3 points.
Sophie Willan: Sophie only used paint for the entire face and hair, and drew a lovely, sad, 1920s-style self-portrait. She received 5 points.
Steve Pemberton: Steve randomly covered his ball with hair and drew a runny mascara face from the end of the night. He received 2 points.

Behind the Scenes[]
- Greg proclaimed that John and Sophie's faces were quite attractive and in "Dream date territory", the episode's name.
- Alex presented the faces in the same way as Paint the best picture of a horse whilst riding a horse, where he didn't reveal their creator's names until Greg finished judging them.
