The task was presented in Bernard the mannequin's lap. The contestants had to hang all of Bernard's clothes on the coat rail located away from the taped box the contestants were in with Bernard. They were not allowed to step over the line to reach the coat rail, so had to use other methods to reach the coat rail. There were hangers available under Bernard's chair.

Daisy May Cooper: Daisy tried throwing the clothes on the coat rail, before using Bernard to hook the coat rail. But when she realised that half the clothes are where the coat rail are standing, she then had to retrieve the clothes again, breaking Bernard's head in the process. She hung the clothes in 17 minutes and 9 seconds, receiving 1 point.
Johnny Vegas: Johnny hooked the coat rail with his pocket watch, but ended up breaking Bernard's head when trying to take his clothes off. He hung the clothes and Bernard in 6 minutes and 50 seconds, receiving 4 points.
Katherine Parkinson: Katherine leaned over the line, ensuring her feet stayed behind the line, to retrieve the coat rail. She folding the clothes over the coat rail because she did not notice the hangers until she finished. She hung the clothes in 5 minutes and 14 seconds, and as she did not step over the line, she received 5 points.
Mawaan Rizwan: Mawaan managed to hook the coat rail using a chain of hangers to bring it closer. He hung all the clothes on the coat rail in 9 minutes and 35 seconds, receiving 2 points.
Richard Herring: Richard initially use Bernard's shoe to hook the coat rail, but after losing it, he ended up using Bernard's neck to grab both coat rail and the shoe. He hung all the clothes on the coat rail in 8 minutes and 10 seconds, receiving 3 points.
