The task was presented by a mannequin in the dome. The contestants had to make said mannequin come alive.

Joanne McNally: Joanne tried to resuscitate the mannequin with a car battery, but then had it die. She received 1 point.
John Robins: John dressed the mannequin in a spare set of his Freddie Mercury costume and did a tango with it. He received 3 points.
Nick Mohammed: Nick did a ventriloquist act and dressed the mannequin as a magician called "Daniel Paul," and did a magic trick with a rope. He received 3 points.
Sophie Willan: Sophie did a ventriloquist act and dressed the mannequin as Wolfie, a 36-year-old wolf-headed Scorpio "party dog" looking for love, whose hidden talents were dancing and beatboxing. She received 2 points.
Steve Pemberton: Steve created a Frankenstein-like montage, then dressed himself as a lonely mannequin called "Manny Quinn" and asked Alex to dance with him via a task. He received 5 points.
