Summary[]
The task was presented as a pop-up task. The contestants had to make the toast, popper, monster, jack-in-the-box, gum, cat feeder, cuckoo, a bubble and the balloon pop when the timer reached zero. They were allowed to test the equipment but only had one balloon and party popper.
Performance[]
Deborah Meaden: Deborah tested all of the equipment in order to make a plan but forgot about the feeder. However, she had never used a toaster before and was convinced by Alex that it was voice operated. She popped all of the items within 72 seconds of each other, receiving 3 points.
Kojey Radical: Kojey started to test the equipment and made Alex chew the gum before he popped the balloon early at 3 minutes. He popped all of the items within 3 minutes and 31 seconds of each other, receiving 2 points.
Lenny Rush: Lenny tested all of the equipment in an attempt to make a plan for popping. He popped all the items within 50 seconds of each other, receiving 4 points.
Steve Backshall: Steve tested all of the equipment in advance to make an organised plan for popping. He popped all the items within 18 seconds of each other, receiving 5 points.
Zoe Ball: Zoe tested the equipment but panicked after popping the balloon 1 minute early, and forgetting to pop the cat feeder. She popped all the items within 24 minutes of each other, receiving 1 point.
