Learn Swedish was a task featured on Series 13 of Taskmaster, as the second task in You tuper super. The task was won by Ardal O'Hanlon.

Summary[]
The task was presented on the caravan table next to a Swedish phrase book and a tablet. The contestants had to learn Swedish using the Swedish phrase book and tablet provided. They then had to have a 5 minute conversation with Fred the Swede in Swedish, with Fred being face-timed on a tablet attached to a mannequin. They were not allowed to take the phrase book or tablet into the living room, but could take notes on the task and bring their own mobile phones into the room.
Performance[]
Ardal O'Hanlon: Ardal took notes during his revision time and managed to speak fluent Swedish, including singing a Swedish drinking song he had actually learnt whilst drinking in Sweden with people from the Volvo factory. He received 5 points.
Bridget Christie: Bridget ended up ringing her brother Jim who lives in Sweden to help translate the conversation, in the end demonstrating the Swedish language through the conversation between Fred and Jim. She received 4 points.
Chris Ramsey: Chris was confident walking in but forgot everything, at one point pretending to sleep before repeatedly saying the word "hungrig". He received 1 point.
Judi Love: Judi struggled to say a lot, but did manage to say good morning and her name is Judi. She received 2 points.
Sophie Duker: Sophie took notes during her revision time and managed to say several phrases to Fred, including "Welcome to Taskmaster"; "I am pregnant" and "Do you like McDonalds?". She received 3 points.
