Summary[]

The contestants had to learn facts about sausages from a revision guide inside of their desk. On the back of the revision guide was the answers in a sentence: Gene chopped 42 Australian intestines.

The facts are the following, bolded are answers:

  • The minimum meat content of a UK pork sausage is 42%
  • Queen Victoria liked the meat in her sausage hand chopped.
  • The casing of a sausage is traditionally made from intestines.
  • The longest sausage ever created was 38.99 miles long.
  • The record for Most Sausages Swallowed Whole in a minute is 12.
  • Gene Courtney was crowned Sausage Queen in 1955
  • The Democracy Sausage hails from Australia.
  • The word Sausage comes from the Latin word 'Salsus" meaning 'Salted'

Frankie Boyle: Frankie is the first contestant to realise that he can use his chalkboard to make notes during the revision period, making every contestant to do the same. He got 2/5 questions correct saying 'Gene chopped 8 American fuck knows', receiving 3 points.

Ivo Graham: Ivo got 5/5 questions correct because he figures out that the answers to the exam are written on the back of the sausage fact sheet. So he receiving 5 points.

Jenny Eclair: Jenny got 3/5 questions correct saying 'Sausage Queen chopped (not minced) 42 Danish intestines', receiving 4 points.

Kiell Smith-Bynoe: Kiell spots the answers on the back of the sausage fact sheet, but believes that they will be the answer to a secret extra question at the end of the exam, rather than the actual answers he will need for all of the questions. He got 1/5 questions correct saying 'Victoria mixed 48 Taiwanese intestines', receiving 1 point.

Mae Martin: Mae got 2/5 questions correct saying 'Greg cold 42 American intestines', receiving 3 points.
