Knock the bails off the wickets from the furthest distance was a task featured on Season 4 of Taskmaster NZ, as the second task in A love bomb. The task was won by Karen O'Leary.

Summary[]

The task was presented on a plinth next to a cricket ball. The contestants had to knock the bails off the wickets from the furthest distance. The contestants could have as many attempts until the bails fell off.

Performance[]

Bubbah: Bubbah immediately took a practice shot and knocked the bails off the wickets, not realising that she couldn't continue after the bails had fallen off. She knocked the bails off the wickets from 6.05 metres away, receiving 1 point.

Dai Henwood: Dai repeatedly threw a cricket ball at the wickets from a far distance, slowly getting closer with each throw. He knocked the bails off the wickets from 17.65 metres away, receiving 3 points.

Karen O'Leary: Karen tied several pieces of rope together and around the wickets before going to the other end of the rope and pulling the wickets down. She knocked the bails off the wickets from 61 metres away, receiving 5 points.

Melanie Bracewell: Melanie tied several pieces of rope together and around the wickets before going to the other end of the rope and pulling the wickets down. She knocked the bails off the wickets from 58.3 metres away, receiving 4 points.

Ray O'Leary: Ray initially attempted to tie a rope around the wickets but struggled with his knots. He then tried throwing balls at the wickets before eventually pulling the carpet the wickets were on so they would fall over. He knocked the bails off the wickets from 6.31 metres away, receiving 2 points.
