Katherine Ryan is a Canadian comedian, writer, presenter and actress. She regularly appears on panel shows including 8 Out of 10 Cats, Would I Lie to You? and QI, and is a team captain on The Fix. She also has stand-up specials on Netflix entitled Katherine Ryan: In Trouble and Katherine Ryan: Glitter Room.
In 2016, Ryan appeared in Series 2 of Taskmaster, winning with 94 points. She returned in 2017 for Champion of Champions, finishing third with 35 points.
In 2019, in the Series 9 episode Bready bready bready. she stood in for Katy Wix in the studio segments. She won the studio task, gaining Wix the full potential five points.

Trivia[]
- Due to the nature of the studio task in "A pistachio eclair.", where each rabbit was worth one actual point, Katherine scored 30 points for the episode, the highest score ever achieved in an episode.
- Dara Ó Briain tied this in "Enormous hugeness", winning every task in the process.
- Despite winning Series 2, she only won 5 tasks, the third most won in the series.
- Katherine is one of three series champions to win just one episode of their series, the others being Noel Fielding and Morgana Robinson.
- However, Katherine did win the first episode of Champion of Champions.
- Katherine is the only champion to never win a prize task.
- Morgana did not win any prize tasks in her series; however, she won the prize task in Champion of Champions III.
