Taskmaster Wiki

In the style of a soap opera scene, dramatically destroy your team's creation was a special team task featured on Season 3 of Taskmaster Australia, as the fourth task in Gimme some item. The task was won by Aaron Chen, Peter Helliar, and Rhys Nicholson.

Setup[]

Location Taskmaster Retreat
Equipment Soap
Timing 30 minutes
Measurement Most dramatic destruction

Summary[]

The first task was presented underneath a soap dispenser. The teams were instructed to recreate the Sydney Opera House out of soap. However, earlier in the day Pete and Concetta had received a task in their lockers which had instructed them to destroy their team's creation as dramatically as possible. While the first task was irrelevant, Pete and Concetta would earn points for their team if they destroyed their team's creation without them realizing it was a task.

Performance[]

Aaron Chen, Peter Helliar, & Rhys Nicholson: The team of 3 worked on creating a mini self-standing opera house, until Pete poured a bucket of water onto it, which toppled the structure. While Rhys was oblivious, Aaron accused Pete of sabotaging the task. However, Aaron's legitimate surprise when the secret task was revealed led Tom G to believe that he didn't actually know Pete was intentionally sabotaging. They received 3 points each.

Concetta Caristo & Mel Buttle: Mel and Concetta each worked on creating flat Sydney Opera Houses on the table, until Concetta pretended to become exasperated and shoved the soap off the table. Mel immediately accused Concetta of being given a secret sabotage task, unknowingly disqualifying both Concetta and herself. They received 0 points each.
