The task was presented hanging from the ceiling. The contestants had to identify the liquids in the various items, following the instructions on the items. The instructions and liquids were as follows:
- "You may only spray the perfume on your wrist" - Pickled Onion Vinegar
- "You may only spray the sponge" with the water gun - Lychee Juice
- "You may only squeeze the pipette into your mouth" - Vegetable stock
- "You may only push the valve with the chopstick" - Tea
- "You can do whatever you want with the balloon" - Mushroom Soup

Ardal O'Hanlon: Ardal managed to identify the stock, the mushroom soup and the tea, bursting the balloon to get to the liquid. He received 4 points.
Bridget Christie: Bridget managed to identify the vinegar and the tea, cutting the balloon open to get to the liquid. She received 3 points.
Chris Ramsey: Chris managed to identify the pickled onion vinegar, the stock and the tea, cutting the balloon open to get to the liquid. He received 4 points.
