The task was presented in a clothes catalogue. The contestants had to choose an outfit from the catalogue for the contestant whose name came alphabetically after theirs. Outfits included: Boxer, Convict, Chef, Pirate, Santa. Later, the contestants entered the lab wearing their chosen outfit, with the task being presented on the table alongside packets of crisps. The contestants had to correctly work out the flavours of the crisps. The flavours were: Gin & Tonic, Toothpaste & Tomato, Burnt Toast, Vegan Chocolate, and Giant Refreshers Crisp.
