Summary[]
The task was presented on the spot next to 45 alphabet cards. The contestant had to find and hug their mannequin creations from Make this mannequin come alive task weeks earlier. Every letter they touched and flipped would add a minute to their time.
Some alphabet cards revealed items to help them locate the mannequin, or a rock saying "250° West". Turning over all the letters spelt "MANNEQUIN" in an arrow pointing towards the mannequin.
Performance[]
Joanne McNally: Joanne flipped 5 letters and found a walkie-talkie and put it on to locate her friend. She hugged her friend in 11 minutes and 20 seconds after time penalties, receiving 4 points.
John Robins: John flipped 10 letters and found a string, thinking unwinding it would lead him to his friend. When it didn't work, he found the direction note to pinpoint his dancing partner. He hugged his friend in 21 minutes and 20 seconds after time penalties, receiving 3 points.
Nick Mohammed: Nick found and ate a biscuit, then ended up flipping all 45 letters, before leaving to follow the arrow pointing to Daniel Paul. He hugged Daniel in 56 minutes and 25 seconds after time penalties, receiving 1 point.
Sophie Willan: Sophie ignored the alphabet cards and wandered off. She eventually found and hugged Wolfie in 4 minutes and 44 seconds, receiving 5 points.
Steve Pemberton: Steve eventually flipped all 45 letters, forgetting that each letter gave a time penalty, and walked to the wrong direction but eventually found Manny Quinn, shocked to see she was still alive (played by a living human). He hugged Manny in 52 minutes and 37 seconds after time penalties, receiving 2 points.
