Summary[]

The task is presented inside of a shopping centre. The contestants have to high-five a 55 year-old in the fastest time.

Performance[]

Frank Skinner: Frank first questioned whether the average 55 year old knew what a high-five was. After asking a few people, Frank made a 55 year-old out of two 27 year-olds and a 1 year-old, by threatening to take away the baby's ice cream, after 12 minutes 44 seconds. He received 2 points.

Josh Widdicombe: Josh asked several people if they were 55-years old and high-fived a 55 year-old in a wheelchair, which made it look like he cuffed her, after 3 minutes 18 seconds. He received 5 points.

Roisin Conaty: Roisin asked lots of people if they were 55, acknowledging that she was insulting a lot of people, and eventually made a sign, getting a 55-year old to high-five her after 6 minutes 12 seconds. She received 4 points.

Romesh Ranganathan: After asking a few people, Romesh made a sign, promising £20 to any 55 year old, and eventually high-fived a 51 year-old after 1 hour. He received 1 point.

Tim Key: Tim found a 55-year old on his first try after wandering around the mall and examining everyone, however, he lied and told somebody that he was filming for Comic Relief to get them to high-five them. Although Tim high-fived a 55 year-old after 4 minutes 29 seconds, Greg dropped Tim to third place as he refused to donate £185 to Comic Relief. He received 3 points.

Trivia[]

Behind the Scenes[]

  • This is the only task to involve unwitting members of the public by design. This is because Alex Horne said he did not want to feature these kind of tasks in the future as it felt "more like a prank show".[1] (On rare occasions, contestants choose to involve unwitting members of the public; Alex remarks in Choose a new nickname based on something you do that this is "not encouraged.")
