Hide this body was a task featured on Season 3 of Taskmaster NZ, as the fourth task in Well Alright! The task was won by Chris Parker.
Setup[]
Location | Taskmaster Ranch |
---|---|
Equipment | The contestant's Best friend |
Timing | 15 minutes |
Measurement | Longest hidden body |
Summary[]
The task was presented to the contestants on a body bag containing the contestants' Best Friend. The contestants had to hide the body for Paul, who was hiding in the shed, to find.
Performance[]
Chris Parker: Chris completed the task completely wet as part of another secret task. He drove home with the Best Friend, leaving Paul to search the grounds to find the body, including wading in the lake to check as Paul had kept calling him on the drive home and Chris kept telling him to check the lake. Paul then texted Chris' sister who worked on the show to ask if she had any dead bodies lying around the house, prompting Chris to hide Sacky's name tag in Paul's personal bedroom. He then revealed in the studio that Sacky was inside of the mystery box Chris had submitted for the earlier prize task: "Best baffling mystery". Paul found the body in 72 days and 6 minutes, so Chris received 5 points.
Josh Thomson: Josh pretended to run in the gravel with a spade, created a fake body with cushions on the balcony and created a fake body in the woods. Paul eventually found the "best friend" buried in the woods in 3 days, 20 hours and 20 minutes, so Josh received 3 points.
Justine Smith: Justine hid her "best friend" under the caravan, before finding Paul in the shed as she tried to find stuff. Paul found the body in 52 seconds, so Justine received 2 points.
Kura Forrester: Kura teased Paul as he was searching by telling him he was hot and close whilst in the house when she had actually hid her "best friend" behind a fence. Paul found the body in 9 days, 16 hours and 8 minutes, so Kura received 4 points.
Paul Ego: Paul did not realise that Paul was in the shed so buried his "best friend" directly behind the shed. Paul found the body in 44 seconds, so Paul received 1 point.
Other Appearances[]
Kongen Befaler[]
A version of this task was featured on Season 7 of Kongen Befaler. Instead of hiding a "body", the contestants had to hide a giant teddy bear.
