The task is presented with a bunch of balloons. The contestants were given 10 weeks to grow the longest nail, either finger or toe.
Performance[]
Frank Skinner: Frank grew a 2.1cm fingernail on his left thumb, receiving 3 points.
Josh Widdicombe: Josh grew a 2.8cm toenail on his right big toe, receiving 5 points.
Roisin Conaty: Roisin grew a 1.8cm fingernail on her left thumb, which she previously bit, receiving 2 point.
Romesh Ranganathan: Romesh grew a 2.2cm toenail on his left big toe, which he painted a face on, receiving 4 points.
Tim Key: Tim presented a note of exemption from Jenefer Tait, his stage manager, stating he could not take part in the task as he was performing in a play, called Tree at the Old Vic Theatre in London, from January 5th to February 22nd 2015, at a time where he had to cut his fingernails very short to make it seem like he was biting them as he portrayed a very nervous man in the play. He received 1 point, due to not undertaking the task, hoping that the round would be voided.
