Setup[]
Location | Taskmaster Retreat |
---|---|
Equipment | Flour, water, various adhesives |
Timing | 10 minutes |
Measurement | Closest to 2 minutes |
Summary[]
The task was presented inside a bowl of flour. Contestants had to glue an item to the caravan ceiling, then have it stick there for as close to 2 minutes as possible.
Performance[]
Aaron Chen: Aaron stuck a ball to the ceiling, then threw a banana to knock it off after 2 minutes and 3 seconds. His attempt was allowed since it was ruled that he didn't touch his original item. Aaron received 5 points.
Concetta Caristo: Concetta mixed the flour and water, then stuck the task, the envelope seal, and a ball to the ceiling. Her items remained on the ceiling for Aaron, Mel, and Pete's attempts, and were still there as of the studio recording after 78 days, 7 hours and 13 minutes. Concetta received 1 point.
Mel Buttle: Mel stuck a badge to the ceiling, which stayed for 1 minute and 40 seconds. She then stuck the task to the ceiling and used a piece of wood to knock it off after 2 minutes and 7 seconds. Her attempt was allowed since it was ruled that she didn't touch her original item. Mel received 4 points.
Peter Helliar: Pete stuck a koala toy to the ceiling for 44 seconds. He also tried to "stick" his hand to the ceiling, claiming that it "miraculously" fell after exactly 2 minutes, which Tom G did not allow. Pete received 3 points.
Rhys Nicholson: Rhys mixed the flour and water, then stuck a tea towel to the ceiling which remained for 15 seconds. Rhys received 2 points.
Trivia[]
- Pete tried to justify his hand as an item, saying that he frequently extends his hand to his friends and says "gimme some item", the episode name.
