Taskmaster Wiki

Give Alex exactly 100 marbles on a plate and an eggcup full of tepid water was a team task featured on Series 19 of Taskmaster, as the third task in An invisible jump rope. The task was won by Fatiha El-Ghorri, Mathew Baynton & Rosie Ramsey.

Setup[]

Location Taskmaster House
Equipment Marbles, two flasks of different thermal waters, eggcup, plate
Measurement Fastest wins

Summary[]

The task was presented by Alex on top on Linda the Cow. The contestants had to give a plate of exactly 100 marbles and an eggcup of lukewarm water to Alex. One contestant had to sit down; one contestant had to jump all the time; and one had to clap their hands, in which they must change their actions every 30 seconds.

The marbles were inside the hutch, the plate can be found either in the caravan or the shed, Ollie the Knight was holding the eggcup, and the water was supplied on the hand of The Taskmaster Statue with one flask is cold water and one is hot water. They cannot carry anything for more than five seconds and there's a map to the item's location at the back of the task.

Note that the marbles may have more than the required hundred.

Performance[]

Fatiha El-Ghorri, Mathew Baynton & Rosie Ramsey: The team of three got confused with what action they supposed to do, what the definition of jumping was supposed to be, and just kept searching for the items swiftly.

Unfortunately, they spent an extra time counting and looking for the missing marbles (mostly because Fatiha threw some marbles out from the hutch), completing their task in 22 minutes and 34 seconds. Despite all the chaos, they received 5 points each.

Jason Mantzoukas & Stevie Martin: One of them chose to sit down and clapped, while the other chose to jump to move around throughout. Both Jason and Stevie swiftly swapped their action with such exhaustion and found the map that help them find the eggcup.

They delivered both eggcup of water and a tambourine of marbles to Alex in 11 minutes and 45 seconds, but unfortunately there was an extra marble in the tambourine. As Greg enjoyed their attempt and spirit, he allowed them to have one charity point each.
