Get this camel through the smallest gap was a task featured on Series 4 of Taskmaster, as the second task in Spatchcock it. The task was won by Mel Giedroyc.
Setup[]
Location | Taskmaster House |
---|---|
Equipment | Toy camel |
Timing | 10 minutes |
Measurement | Smallest gap |
Summary[]
The task was presented on a toy camel. The contestants had to get the toy camel through the smallest gap.
Performance[]
Hugh Dennis: Hugh blended the camel, breaking the blade in the process before emptying out all of its stuffing. He got the camel through a gap that was 9mm wide, receiving 4 points.
Joe Lycett: Joe attempted to blend the camel but failed because Hugh had broken the blade previously, before stuffing it through a shelf. He also attempted to get the camel through the handle of a chopping board but did not get all of it through. He got the camel through a 4.6cm gap, receiving 2 points.
Lolly Adefope: Lolly squeezed the toy camel through small gaps in the house. She got the camel through a gap that was 3.1cm, receiving 3 points.
Mel Giedroyc: Mel took the camel to a Baby Gap shop, running into the shop with the camel before the time ran out. She received 5 points.
Noel Fielding: Noel cut the camel up, getting all 4 feet, the head and 1 hump through a kitchen roll tube that was 4cm wide. He received 1 point.

Trivia[]
Behind the scenes[]
- When Alex described the way Hugh got the camel through the gap in the door, he said Hugh had chosen to "Spatchcock it", the episode's name.
- The toy camel's name is Stewart.
Controversies[]
- Despite Joe's official attempt being counted as the 4.6cm gap in the shelf, which was a larger gap than Noel's 4cm tube, Joe received 2 points and Noel just 1. It is possible that Joe was partially rewarded for getting some of his camel through the chopping board handle.
