Summary[]
The first part of the task was presented on the table in orange letters. The contestants had to choose a piece of kitchen equipment, a body part, and a gardening tool for the next task.
The second part of the task was presented on top of the vase in the lab. The contestants had to get orange juice into their vase, but only touching the oranges with their chosen tools or body parts.
Performance[]
Joanne McNally: Joanne chose a spatula, her ear, and a hosepipe.
She put oranges into the vase and squash them with the spatula and hosepipe. She didn't use her ear at all during the task. She got 116 mL of orange juice in her vase, receiving 4 points.
John Robins: John chose a balti pan, his forearms, and a rake.
He only used his forearms to break and squeeze the oranges into the pan, and to then pour the juice from the pan into the vase. He got 199 mL of orange juice in his vase, receiving 5 points.
Nick Mohammed: Nick chose a garlic press, his little toe, and a rake.
He tried to squash some oranges from the inside the vase with the rake handle, only to break a part of the vase, then used the garlic press to squeeze the oranges. He didn't use his little toe at all during the task. He got 109 mL of orange juice in his vase, receiving 3 points.
Sophie Willan: Sophie chose a spatula, her boobs, and a pair of shears.
She put oranges into the vase and squashed them with the spatula and shears, using a boob to support it as she carried it into the vase. She got 107 mL of orange juice in her vase, receiving 2 points.
Steve Pemberton: Steve chose a cheese grater, his armpit, and a hosepipe.
He tried to grate the orange and squeezed it with his armpit. Most of the juice was soaked into his shirt, so he tried to wring the juice out. He got 13 mL of orange juice in his vase, receiving 1 point.
