Setup[]
Location | Taskmaster House |
---|---|
Equipment | Balls, net, stool |
Timing | 5 minutes |
Measurement | Most balls in the net wins |
Summary[]
The task was presented on a box. The teams had to get as many balls into the net as possible, which was located at the end of a the hallway. Only the person who read the task and was next to the box of balls (Alan and Morgana) were allowed to touch the balls. If anybody else touched a ball, 5 balls would be subtracted from the teams total. The person in the middle (Alex and Guz) had to sit down for 10 seconds, and stand up for 10 seconds repeatedly throughout the task. Any balls between the task reader and the the middle person were deducted from the ball total. In the studio, Greg decided that a negative score meant the teams did not complete the task.
Performance[]
Alan Davies, Alex Horne, Victoria Coren Mitchell: Alan decided to just throw the balls to Victoria, striking Alex 20 times in total, leaving 46 between Alan and Alex, and 30 in the net. They scored -128 points, so Greg decided they would receive 0 points.
Desiree Burch, Guz Khan & Morgana Robinson: Desiree, Guz and Morgana decided to pass the net to Morgana so she could put all the balls in the net whilst Guz kept standing up and sitting down. Morgana split the balls open, managing to fit 99 balls into the net, with 1 ball left on the floor between Morgana and Guz. However, as the net containing 99 balls was also between the two of them, the team scored -1 point. Despite their score being higher than the other team's, Greg decided that they would receive 0 points.
