Summary[]
The task is presented alongside a set of golf clubs. The contestants were tasked with getting the lowest score in golf using eggs. Their score was calculated by multiplying the number of shots by the number of eggs used by the number of minutes it took to complete the 5 courses.
Performance[]
Frank Skinner: Frank thought that if he hit an egg on the top, it wouldn't break. This proved to be false. He also managed to chip an egg over a corner successfully. Frank took 32 shots, 7 minutes and 5 eggs, scoring 1,096 points. He received 4 points.
Josh Widdicombe: Josh boiled the eggs for 3 minutes, so they were still runny. He took 42 shots, 21 minutes and 7 eggs, scoring about 6,000 points. He received 2 points.
Roisin Conaty: Roisin first asked if she needed to use a club. Then, Roisin swept the eggs around the course. She took 40 shots, 4 minutes and 6 eggs scoring about 1000 points. She received 5 points.
Romesh Ranganathan: Romesh broke a lot of eggs, despite being a vegan and continually questioned if he could morally perform this. He also broke the majority of his eggs on a course with a slope, causing him to run out of eggs. He took 68 shots, 14 minutes 20 seconds and 36 eggs, scoring 35,088 points. He received 1 point.
Tim Key: Tim went to boil the eggs, but instead put the egg inside a tennis ball that was bigger than the golf holes. He also took off his jacket to create an "egg mat" for the course with the slope. He took 39 shots, 10 minutes and 3 eggs, scoring 1,200 points. He received 3 points.
