Gather a herd of animals with exactly 22 legs was a studio team task featured on Series 18 of Taskmaster, as the fifth task in I'm a girl who likes a clean line. The task was won by Andy Zaltzman, Babátúndé Aléshé & Emma Sidi.
Setup[]
Location | Pinewood Studios |
---|---|
Equipment | Tutus, One-legged flamingo toy, kangaroo toy, three-legged dog toy, Patatas and Huevos, five-legged monster toy, ant toy |
Timing | 15 seconds to throw the animals |
Measurement | First to wear tutus |
Summary[]
The teams had to herd the toy animals so that the whole herd had a total of exactly 22 legs. They had to throw a chosen animal every 15 seconds on Alex's whistle. If the herd had exactly 22 legs in total, they had to put on their tutus to complete the task. Both teams began with a herd containing 21 legs.
Performance[]
Andy Zaltzman, Babátúndé Aléshé & Emma Sidi: Andy threw the kangaroo and received the dog. Because 21-2+3=22, they were immediately able to put on their tutus, receiving 5 points each.
Jack Dee & Rosie Jones: Jack threw the dog and received the kangaroo. Because 21-3+2=20, they weren't able to put on their tutus, receiving 0 points each.
Trivia[]
Behind the Scenes[]
- In the outtakes, Baba had to re-read the task multiple times because he kept mispronouncing "don your tutus" as "done your tuh-tuhs".
