Freddie Highmore is an English actor. He is known for starring films including Finding Neverland (2004), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), August Rush (2007), and The Spiderwick Chronicles (2008). He is also known for his roles in television shows including A&E psychological horror drama Bates Motel and ABC medical drama The Good Doctor.
In 2018, Highmore appeared as a contestant on Taskmaster (US), finishing joint second with 69 points.
