Summary[]
The task was presented on the table on the decking. The contestants had to either flick, flip and flap on either flip-flop, flan and flapjack. Alex counted the distance between the contestants and the objects in pigeons, with 1 pigeon being 10 centimetres.
Performance[]
Joanne McNally: Joanne decided to flap the flapjack with a tennis racket, only to curve it towards the telephone pole, flicked the flip-flop on wheels down the driveway, but it stopped midway, and flipped the flan towards The Taskmaster Statue. She moved the objects a total of 197 pigeons, receiving 3 points.
John Robins: John decided to flick the flip-flop with The Taskmaster Statue's thumb as a slingshot, flipped the flan with an oar, and used the oars gaffertaped to his hands to flap the flapjack. He moved the objects a total of 408 pigeons, receiving 5 points.
Nick Mohammed: Nick misread the task as "furthest from Alex", so he carried the table across the garden with the objects on it before flipping it. He moved the objects 10 pigeons each, receiving 1 point.
Sophie Willan: Sophie misunderstood the task, and just finger-flicked the flip-flop so it still on the table. Realising her mistake, she then flipped the flan off the table, and back flapped the flapjack off the table, making only the flapjack get far from the table. She moved the objects a total of 56.9 pigeons in just 2 minutes, receiving 2 points.
Steve Pemberton: Steve created a seesaw to flip the flan into the air, flicked the flapjack with a pen, and acted as an owl to flap the flip-flop. He moved the objects a total of 208 pigeons, receiving 4 points.
