Summary[]
The task was presented on the caravan table. The contestants had to exit the caravan exactly 20 minutes after they entered the caravan. At the same time, they also had to write and say 40 words, and each word must be either the same length or shorter than the previous word. There was a clock on top of the caravan, and a stopwatch in a secret compartment on the floor of the caravan.
Performance[]
Frankie Boyle: Frankie relied on his internal clock based on his 20-minute stand-up sets, focusing on the word part of the task. He left the caravan after 23 minutes and 21 seconds, receiving 4 points.
Ivo Graham: Ivo spent a long time trying to count how long the hourglasses lasted for, before finding the clock on the roof. He then shouted to nearby golfers to ask for the exact time, determining what time he had to leave the caravan before he started his list of words. He left the caravan after 23 minutes and 17 seconds, receiving 5 points.
Jenny Eclair: Jenny thought of a 20-minute stand-up set and realised she could write the same word 40 times, deciding to write imagination 39 times and end with the word broken. Despite thinking she had been in there for 30 minutes, Jenny left the caravan after 10 minutes and 57 seconds, receiving 3 points.
Kiell Smith-Bynoe: Kiell looked at the cameraman's watch but he ended up taking it off his wrist as he saw Kiell looking at it. He left the caravan after 24 minutes and 20 seconds. However, Kiell only wrote 39 words, two of which were longer than the previous word (point to course and vet to mice), so he was disqualified from the task.
Mae Martin: Mae found the clock on the top of the caravan but it broke due to the rain, and they looked up words in the books in the caravan, deciding to judge the words' length by syllables. They left after 19 minutes and 48 seconds. However, they wrote and said outrageous before humiliate, which has one more syllable, so they were disqualified from the task.
