Dukes Meadows Bandstand, also known as The Bandstand and The Taskmaster Outhouses, is a recurring filming location for the pre-recorded tasks. It first appeared in the fifth episode of Series 1, Little denim shorts.. It is the only location for location tasks to date that appears in multiple series.
Tasks[]
- The episode Little denim shorts. (Series 1, Episode 5) featured a task where the teams had to make a bed whilst holding hands, with the two-player team's bed was located at the bandstand. The two-player team won 2 points each, and the three-player team won 0 points.
- The episode A pistachio eclair. (Series 2, Episode 3) featured a task at the bandstand where the contestants had to retrieve a potato between various teammates, who between them couldn't hear, speak or see. Series 1 champion Josh Widdicombe joined the two-person team to help them. The two-person team earned 5 points each, and the three person-team earned 0 points.
- The episode Look at me. (Series 4, Episode 2) featured a task where the teams had to put as much flour on a target without leaving the bandstand. As Noel stopped Alex's timer, the three-person team were disqualified and the two-person team won 5 points each.
- The episode Wiley giraffe blower. (Champion of Champions, Episode 1) featured a solo task where the contestants had to either throw an exercise ball into the bath or put all the coconuts in the shopping trolley. The exercise ball had to to be thrown whilst the contestant was under a roof and they could not move the bath, touch any of the coconuts with their hands or move the shopping trolley. The task was won by Noel.
- The episode My eyes are circles. (Series 7, Episode 2) featured a task at the bandstand where the teams had to paint the best still life, with the painter blindfolded and guiders limited to using certain words. The three-person team won 3 points each, and the two-person team won 2 points each.
- The episode Shaqinahat. (Series 9, Episode 8) featured a task where the teams had to supply the sound to a silent film which was recorded at the bandstand. The three-person team won 3 points each and the two-person team won 2 points each.
- The episode Toshwash. (Series 10, Episode 4) featured a task where team members had to secretly put something that looked amazing into their shopping bags. Later, the team members visited the bandstand where they had to persuade a security guard to look in their bag. Daisy and Johnny received 5 points each, whilst Katherine, Mawaan and Richard earned 0 points each.
- The episode Spider in my pocket. (Champion of Champions III, Episode 1) featured a task where the contestants had to be the best waiter, serving Alex food, drink and cutlery after finding him hiding behind one of the outbuildings. If they dropped anything, the contestants had to clap for a full minute before carrying on. The task was won by Sophie Duker.
