Drop the coffee was a task featured on Season 3 of Taskmaster Australia, as the second task in Out-alpha'd by a sheep. The task was won by Aaron Chen.

Summary[]
The task was presented inside a bucket of coffee. The contestants had to drop the bucket, which contained 7L of coffee, from the greatest height. Their score would be calculated from the amount of litres of coffee left in the bucket, multiplied by the amount of metres that the bucket was dropped from.
Performance[]
Aaron Chen: Aaron stuffed towels in the bucket, then created a lid out of duct tape. Despite spilling a little while moving the bucket, he didn't spill any after dropping it from the balcony. Aaron dropped the coffee from 5m, with 6.94L remaining, giving him a score of 34.7 LitreMetres. Aaron received 5 points.
Concetta Caristo: Concetta spent a long time chatting to Tom C about going to the "clurb." She dropped the bucket, unprotected, from a ladder which spilled most of the coffee. Concetta dropped the coffee from 1.98m, with 39mL remaining, giving her a score of 0.077 LitreMetres. Concetta received 1 point.
Mel Buttle: Mel tried to create a cushioned landing for the bucket. She tested it with a potted plant, before dropping the unprotected bucket which spilled immediately. Mel dropped the coffee from 0.37m, with 730mL remaining, giving her a score of 0.27 LitreMetres. Mel received 2 points.
Peter Helliar: Pete poured the coffee into a plastic bag, then dropped the bucket while standing on a fence, causing some of the coffee to splash out. Pete dropped the coffee from 1.49m, with 6.1L remaining, giving him a score of 9.09 LitreMetres. Pete received 4 points.
Rhys Nicholson: Rhys poured the coffee into a plastic bag, then dropped the bag from the balcony, bursting when it hit the ground. Rhys dropped the coffee from 5.1m, with 16mL remaining, which was calculated as a score of 0.816 LitreMetres. Rhys received 3 points.
Trivia[]
- Rhys' LitreMetre score is incorrectly calculated as 0.816 when it should be 0.0816. This means that Rhys received 1 extra point for this task, and Mel received 1 less than she should have.
