Dave Gorman is an English comedian, author and television presenter known for performing stand-up with PowerPoint presentations. His best known works are his stage shows Are You Dave Gorman? and Dave Gorman's Googlewhack Adventure, as well as televison shows Dave Gorman: Modern Life Is Goodish and Terms and Conditions Apply.

In 2016, Gorman appeared on Series 3 of Taskmaster, finishing second with 81 points. He was the guest on episodes 35, 75 and 99 of Taskmaster The Podcast.

Trivia[]

  • Dave was asked to participate in the 2010 Edinburgh Festival Fringe show The Taskmaster, but declined.[1]
  • All clocks in the Taskmaster House are set to 10:08 as a reference to Dave's show, Modern Life is Goodish.[2]
  • Dave is one of the few contestants to make a cameo in the show after they appeared. He appeared in the Series 5 episode The leprechaun or the lesbian., as part of Aisling Bea's entry for the prize task "Hippest item of headwear", modelling Aisling's Yorkshire pudding hat.
