Taskmaster Wiki

Create an original two-player sport and play against Tom was a task featured on Season 3 of Taskmaster Australia, as the third task in Mop and bucket situation. The task was won by Concetta Caristo.

Summary[]

The task was presented in the caravan on a Foosball table. The contestants had to create an original sport, then play it against Tom C. If Tom defeated them at their sport, they would lose 2 points.

Performance[]

Aaron Chen: Aaron created "Table tennis, basketball and yoga but much more original." After deciding the server with a skateboard flip, Aaron served balls at Tom who would rally them back. Tom ended up defeating Aaron 2-1. Aaron received 2 points.

Concetta Caristo: Concetta created "Phone Slap", where the goal was to slap a yarn ball into a hat with a rotary telephone, then throw another yarn ball into the bath. While Tom was first to land his yarn in the hat, he forgot to say the phrase "Hat's off to you" before Concetta threw her yarn into the bath, so she won. Concetta received 5 points.

Mel Buttle: Mel created "Rowing Whilst Flowing", where she and Tom had to freestyle rap about a randomly generated word while rowing in the lake. Mel easily defeated Tom by rowing around the lily pads while free-styling off of the word "grimace." Mel received 3 points.

Peter Helliar: Pete created "Reverse Drop Bear", where the goal was to fling a stuffed koala into a tree with a paddle. After 3 attempts each, Tom defeated Pete using an unconventional, but allowed technique. Pete received 2 points.

Rhys Nicholson: Rhys created "Touchball." One player would play the ball-toucher, (Rhys) who would move an exercise ball while the other was blindfolded. The second player was the ball-wanter, (Tom) who would have 5 minutes to find and touch the ball with a mannequin leg. Rhys threw the ball into the lake, which floated to shore and allowed Tom to touch it, winning Touchball. Rhys was deducted 1 point.

Trivia[]

  • Pete is said to receive 0 points for losing to Tom, however his episode and season scores still show that he received 2 points for this task.
