Copy Alex was a task featured on Series 12 of Taskmaster, as the second task in The end of the franchise. The task was won by Victoria Coren Mitchell.

Summary[]
The task was presented on a pew. The contestants had to copy what Alex did in one attempt after watching him demonstrate the actions twice. They were allowed to make notes during Alex's demonstration but then had to remember what Alex did when they did their demonstration.
Alex awarded each contestant a score based on timing, number of moves, the order of the moves, and bang-on bonuses, with a maximum of 142 points available. They had an earpiece in so they could hear the music. They had to:
- Tip-toe (down the stairs at START)
- Ankle slap (4 times in the middle of the organ)
- Stop and shake (also shake your head at half its time)
- Karate Chops (3 times at bass sound)
- Magic trick (pull the bag at TEN then a big straw at NINE)
- Arty snake (hand in the bag at EIGHT and act at SEVEN)
- Sexy moves (start at SIX)
- Toss up a treat (Taking confetti out of a bag at FIVE)
- Elastic band (stretch at THREE then hit the bell at TWO to gain bang-on bonus)
- Return to seat (start at ONE and sit at STOP)
Performance[]
Alan Davies: Alan was behind on what Alex was doing, finishing after the music finished by some time. Alan scored 26/142 and failed to bang the bell, receiving 1 point.
Desiree Burch: Desiree started off slow but managed to quickly get back on track. She scored 55.5/142 and able to bang the bell, receiving 4 points.
Guz Khan: Guz started his descent late, so had to skip out on parts of Alex's performance in order to sit down when the music ended. He received 2 points despite be able to bang the bell.
Morgana Robinson: Morgana started off faster than Alex but eventually managed to slow down to Alex's speed and finish on time. She scored 48/142 and able to bang the bell, receiving 3 points.
Victoria Coren Mitchell: Victoria managed to keep up with Alex's dance, but finished slightly ahead of the music as she forgot to stand still before climbing the stairs again. She scored 64.5/142 and failed to bang the bell, receiving 5 points.
