Commentate on yourself achieving something really tricky, then achieve that really tricky thing was a task featured on Series 19 of Taskmaster, as the second task in An invisible jump rope. The task was won by Mathew Baynton.
Setup[]
Location | Taskmaster House |
---|---|
Equipment | CRT TV, microphone |
Timing | 5 minutes to record their commentary 15 minutes to achieve their R.T.T. |
Measurement | Most iconic R.T.T |
Summary[]
The task was presented on the table in the lab. First, the contestants had to record the commentary of their R.T.T on the TV before achieving that exactly R.T.T in the most iconic way.
Performance[]
Fatiha El-Ghorri: Fatiha decided to throw a A4 paper airplane from the caravan to the dome, which successfully achieved in half its distance. She received 4 points.
Jason Mantzoukas: Jason apparently only focused on the commentary that his attempt to do the R.T.T was to climb the roof of the house using the ladder and had Alex to call the staff member to stop him to try. As Greg decided that Jason's "R.T.T" wasn't in the spirit of the task, he only received 1 point.
Mathew Baynton: Mathew decided to create two different R.T.Ts in case one of them failed. For his first R.T.T. attempt he did 20 keepie-uppies with a tennis ball which ended badly. In his second R.T.T. attempt he threw a grape as high as possible and tried to catch it in his mouth, which he succeeded at on his second try. He received 5 points.
Rosie Ramsey: Rosie unarguably went to the dome to do "tricky" math equation of multiplication of 9, before and after the vomit. She received 3 points.
Stevie Martin: Stevie unarguably tried to do a leapfrog with Alex and score a goal with a header at the same time. Because the task wasn't meant to do the R.T.T by personal basis, she only received 2 points.
