Catch all the red balls, catch all the yellow balls, catch the blue ball was a team task featured on Series 8 of Taskmaster, as the third task in Aquatic sewing machine. The task was won by Iain Stirling, Lou Sanders and Paul Sinha.

Summary[]
The task was presented on the grass. The contestants had to catch red balls (worth 1 point) in things from the shed, yellow balls (worth 2 points) in clothing and the blue ball (worth 5 points) in something from the kitchen. They had to let the green balls touch the ground, with any touching anything other than the grass being worth -2 points. They could not pick up any balls that had already touched the ground.
Performance[]
Iain Stirling, Lou Sanders & Paul Sinha: Iain, Lou and Paul used a washing up tray, a pot and Paul's dressing gown, with Paul in charge of the red balls, Lou in charge of the yellows and Iain in charge of the blue ball. Lou caught 6 yellows, but touched 4 greens, making her total +4 points. Iain caught the blue ball and 4 yellows, but touched 9 greens, making his total -5 points. Paul did catch at least 4 red balls but was struck 19 times by the green balls, making his total -26 points. Their total was -27 points; however, as a result of Joe and Sian being disqualified, they received 5 points.
Joe Thomas & Sian Gibson: Joe and Sian used a bucket, a net, a cookery pot and a hat, with Sian being in charge of blue and green balls and Joe in charge of red and yellow balls. Sian caught 3 yellows but was struck by several greens, making her total -12 points. Joe caught 8 reds and 9 yellow but was struck by green balls 15 times, making his total +4 points. Their total was -8 points. However, it was revealed that after the final ball was shot, Sian could be seen kicking balls that were on the ground into the net, therefore disqualifying the team from the task.

A version of this task was featured on Season 3 of Stormester. The contestants competed on their own to catch the most balls, but not with their hands or anything held in their hands.

A version of this task was featured on Season 5 of Bäst i Test. The contestants competed on their own to catch and hold the most balls, which were all the same color.
